SEO services in Andover
This page is the scope in full: what the work covers, how each part behaves, and what it costs. It is written for people who want to know what they are buying before they ask.
The short version is that there is one retainer and everything below sits inside it. The £400 Sprint is the one-off way in.
Which parts matter most depends on your sector, and the sectors here behave very differently. The Andover market report sets out what the search data actually shows.
What is included, itemised
| Work | What it involves | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|
| Technical foundation Crawling, indexing, speed, structured data | Finding and removing the things that stop Google reading the site properly: broken canonicals, pages nobody links to, duplicated templates, slow-loading media, missing or wrong structured data. | Retainer |
| On-page structure Headings, titles, internal links | Rewriting titles and headings so they match how buyers phrase the thing, and linking pages to each other so that authority reaches the pages that need it rather than pooling on the homepage. | Retainer |
| Content Pages that answer a real question | Writing the pages that are missing. Usually the specific service, the specific sector, or the question a buyer asks before they are ready to enquire. | Retainer |
| Local search Business Profile, map results, citations | Google Business Profile put in order, consistent name, address and phone across the directories that Google reads, and pages that give the map listing something to rank alongside. | Retainer |
| AI visibility Being named in the answer | Testing what assistants currently say about your category, then making the site the kind of source they can quote: unambiguous facts, extractable answers, corroborated business details. | Sprint or retainer |
fixed fee The retainer scope is set by ND Media LTD and is the same list for every client on it.
Why this is not sold as five packages
Most of these jobs share the same underlying work. Correcting a site's structure so Google can crawl it also makes it legible to an assistant trying to quote it. Fixing your business details for the map listing fixes them for everything else that reads them.
Splitting that into five priced modules would mean charging separately for work that gets done once. It also creates a bad incentive, where the thing that needs doing this month is not the thing that was sold.
The honest limit of this: the fee moves above £600 if your site is very large or you trade in several sectors and several locations at once. The work genuinely multiplies. That is a scoping conversation, not a surprise on an invoice.
How a month is actually spent
- Read the water first
Nothing gets changed in week one. The first job is a dated record of what Google shows, what the assistants say, and what is technically wrong.
Working without that record makes every later claim of improvement unprovable.
- Fix the obstacles before adding anything
New content on a site that Google struggles to crawl is effort poured into a leak. Technical corrections come first because they are cheap, fast, and they make everything after them work harder.
- Write the pages that are missing
Most sites in this area have a services page and little else. The gap is usually the specific question a buyer asks two weeks before they enquire.
- Re-run the record
The same checks from month one, re-run and dated. That is the only way to tell a real change from a seasonal one.
What is different about search here
Andover is a market town with an industrial economy attached. Distribution and light industry sit on the estates off the A303 and around Walworth and Portway, agriculture surrounds the town, and professional services work out of the centre.
That mix produces two very different search problems in one place. A distribution business is often searched for nationally by category. A trades or professional firm lives or dies by whether it appears when someone types a service and a place name together.
The town is also close enough to Basingstoke, Winchester and Salisbury that buyers routinely search across all of them. Deciding which of those you genuinely compete for and which you should ignore is one of the more useful early conversations.
Which of those towns you genuinely compete in is a sector question before it is a geography one. The market report goes into it in more detail.
What does this look like on a site I run myself?
Below are three catch records from my own portfolio, labelled by sector rather than by name. They are what organic search did on those sites, with no advertising spend behind any of the figures.
Google clicks per month
Portfolio site, EV charging sectorsourced figureGoogle Search Console, pulled 20 July 2026. July is a partial month, drawn at its true value and never projected forward.
Google clicks per month
Portfolio site, health and wellness sectorsourced figureGoogle Search Console, pulled 20 July 2026. Two partial months are flagged in the record.
Google impressions per month
Portfolio site, health and wellness sectorsourced figureGoogle Search Console, pulled 20 July 2026. Impressions are the water the clicks come out of, so they move first.
These are sites in my own portfolio, not client engagements, and they are shown by sector rather than by name. Results vary with niche, competition and starting position.
The May dip in the health and wellness clicks record is real and is left in. Search does not rise in a straight line and a chart that only ever goes up is a chart with something removed from it.

Asked most often about the service
What is actually included in the monthly retainer?
Technical fixes, on-page structure, content work, local search and Google Business Profile, AI visibility, all inside the one fee rather than sold as separate line items. The mix shifts month to month depending on what the record says is holding the site back. That is why the fee is a retainer rather than a package.
Is AI visibility an expensive add-on to the SEO work?
No. Most of the foundation serves both jobs at once: clean structure, correct business details, and content written so that a self-contained answer sits under each heading. Splitting that into a cheap core service and a costly extra would misrepresent how the work behaves.
How long before anything changes?
Technical corrections can affect how quickly pages are crawled and indexed within days, removing an obstacle rather than building an asset. Content and citation authority behave differently and accumulate over months. A single trial month therefore tells you very little either way.
Do you work with businesses on the Andover industrial estates?
Yes. A good share of enquiries come from exactly that kind of business: distribution and light industrial operations around Walworth Business Park, Portway Industrial Estate and Andover Business Park. Those firms often sell nationally while being searched for locally, a combination that changes what the site has to do.
Can I buy a one-off audit instead of a retainer?
The £400 AI Visibility Sprint is the fixed-fee, one-off piece of work, and it is deliberately the lowest-commitment way to find out where you stand. A broader technical audit on its own is possible but usually less useful. An audit that nobody implements is a document rather than an improvement.
Find out where you stand first
The Sprint gives you a dated record of your position in Google and in AI answers for a fixed fee, before any monthly commitment is discussed.
No minimum term on the retainer. Nothing is charged from an enquiry.
